Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Columbus, OH is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to plan, organize, and monitor the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials on an assigned shift. You will ensure timely delivery and accuracy of goods while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You will supervise warehouse staff, manage productivity, coordinate inventory, and ensure compliance with OSHA, 5S, and HACCP programs. Strong leadership, communication, and ERP/WMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Degree in business, management, logistics or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar.
• Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
• Time management skills and the ability to delegate.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• ERP/WMS experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software.

Responsibilities

• Supervising warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Ordering supplies and maintaining suitable inventory levels to support production.
• Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
• Communicates effectively with employees, management, vendors and drivers.
• Regularly reviews and approves employee hours and attendance infractions using Kronos time management software.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Management.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA, state and local regulations among shipping personnel.
• Ensures compliance to quality, food safety and HAACP support programs.
