Job summary

First Solar Inc. is seeking a Material Handler I to safely and efficiently manage materials in our warehouse/shipping environment. You will receive, store, cycle count, and distribute tools and products, ensuring accurate Oracle transactions for goods receipts and issuances.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of sit-down forklift experience, 6+ months in warehousing, and a valid driver's license. Strong attention to detail and familiarity with RF scanners are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year sit-down forklift experience in the last 4 years.
• 6+ months warehouse/material handling experience preferred.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Industrial Equipment Operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to designated production areas or shipments.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on material handling equipment.
• Executes outbound shipments and packaging per directive and in a safe manner.
• Perform daily/weekly cycle counts and investigate variances.
• Follows the rules and regulations of C-TPAT.
• Support 5S program with good housekeeping.
• Able to function as a courier.
• Able to use hand tools such as nail guns and air hose.
