Job summary

Goodwill NYNJ is seeking an Operations Associate for our South Hackensack, NJ warehouse. The role supports safe, efficient handling and storage of donated goods, while serving as a brand ambassador for the organization.

You will operate power equipment, assist with loading/unloading, ensure accurate labeling, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. A forklift license is preferred and prior warehouse experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift operating license preferred.
• Strong communication/listening skills required.

Responsibilities

• Operate power equipment safely to perform daily duties.
• Organize and offload product containers to designated zones.
• Review and label incoming materials accurately.
• Assist with loading/unloading of trucks and verify cargo integrity.
• Follow Safety and Loss Prevention policies at all times.
• Report safety hazards and incidents to leadership per procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and proper storage of materials.
• Be a brand ambassador by delivering excellent customer service to donors and vendors.
