Job summary

United CoolAir, LLC, a long‑standing HVAC OEM, seeks a Warehouse Operations Specialist for our York, PA facility. You will receive, inspect, and store HVAC materials, safely unload shipments, label inventory, and prepare items for production and service calls.

You’ll cycle count, manage inventory in the WMS, and handle hazardous materials per OSHA standards. Join a team focused on efficiency and accuracy, participate in process improvements, and support large projects as needed to sustain smooth

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming HVAC materials against PO/shipping docs.
• Unload deliveries using forklifts/pallet jacks; label, organize, store inventory.
• Pick, stage, and prepare materials for production, service calls, and deliveries.
• Maintain inventory in WMS; handle hazardous or temperature‑sensitive items.
• Support process improvements and special projects to boost efficiency.

Job Description – Warehouse Operations Specialist

United CoolAir, LLC. is an original equipment manufacturer of HVAC products. We have been serving our customers for over 35 years.We are looking for the right person to join our legacy and grow with us with continued success for years to come.We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at our York, PA facility.

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming HVAC materials, equipment, and supplies against purchase orders and shipping documents.
• Safely unload delivery vehicles using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Label, organize, and store inventory—including coils, units, fittings, ductwork, refrigerant items, and accessories—in designated warehouse locations.
• Accurately pick, stage, and prepare materials for production, service calls, and job site deliveries.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, documentation, and timely updates in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Handle and store hazardous or temperature‑sensitive materials in accordance with OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Support seasonal inventory shifts, large project staging, and bulk material coordination.

Warehouse Safety & Organization

• Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse, including receiving, staging, and storage areas.
• Follow HVAC‑specific handling standards, including proper refrigerant storage and documentation practices.

General Operations Support

• Participate in process improvement efforts aimed at increasing warehouse efficiency and workflow accuracy.
• Assist with special operational or departmental projects as assigned.
• Perform additional duties to support warehouse objectives and overall business needs.
