Job summary

WatSco Careers is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a fast-paced HVAC distribution environment. You will load/unload daily, receive and stock merchandise, and verify orders for accuracy using warehouse equipment.

Customer service excellence and safety are essential as you support inventory control and order fulfillment. Forklift operation is a plus; bilingual Spanish preferred in some roles, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Daily loading and unloading of products.
• Receive, inspect and stock all merchandise.
• Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
• Pick and verify orders for customers and prepare orders for shipment as needed.
• Responsible for daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance.
• Appropriate use and maintenance of OF device.
• Assist with physical inventory and inventory control.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders and/or requisitions to determine items to bemoved, gathered, distributed, or shipped.
• Provide excellent customer service to external customers.
• Ensure grounds and warehouse are kept neat, orderly, and safe for employees and customertraffic.
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to one’s regular job duties.
• Wear appropriate PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• In addition to the above responsibilities, this individual is held accountable for all other duties asassigned.
