Job summary

Texas Air Products (TAP) is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support all warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery. The role emphasizes safety, organization, and efficient processes in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will manage daily inventory, assist customers, and ensure accurate order fulfillment while maintaining high quality and safety standards across the facility in South Texas.

Qualifications

  • Five years of proven warehouse/distribution experience
  • Proficiency with inventory software and databases
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Mathematical and reasoning skills

Responsibilities

  • Shipping and receiving; unload trucks and report discrepancies
  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, style, color, or code
  • Assist customers to fulfill their orders
  • Maintain stock levels and report low stock to management
  • Perform daily inventory cycle counts
  • Record quantities received or distributed in the system
  • Identify damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials
  • Conduct inventory controls and maintain quality standards
  • Keep warehouse clean, safe, and space-efficient
  • Communicate and cooperate with management and coworkers
  • Keep the warehouse and work area organized
  • Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment
