Job summary

IKEA in Perryville, MD is seeking a full-time warehouse worker to manage picking, packing, shipping and receiving with a focus on safe handling and efficient flow.

You will support daily DC operations, lift up to 70 lbs, and contribute ideas to improve processes. The role offers benefits and a schedule Wednesday through Saturday 5:00am-3:30pm.

Prior warehouse experience and forklift familiarity are preferred; fluent English is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs / 30 kgs.
• Fluent in English and local language (written and spoken).
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing of the goods.
• Contribute with ideas and inputs to the daily action plan goals.
• Unload inbound/outbound goods and secure merchandise for safe movement.
• Contribute to overall warehouse operations goals and daily workload planning.
• Document and remove damages found on inbound/outbound merchandise.
