Job summary

IKEA USA seeks a warehouse team member to support DC operations, focusing on picking, packing, shipping, receiving and replenishment with attention to accuracy and efficiency. The role involves handling inbound/outbound goods and maintaining safe storage within the distribution center.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of related experience, be able to lift up to 70 lbs, and communicate fluently in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kg ergonomically and stand/walk long periods.
• Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Reach excellence in daily running of DC operations including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing with customer focus.
• Manage picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment and storing of goods; contribute to action plan goals.
• Unload and handle inbound/outbound goods; secure merchandise for safe movement in the distribution center.
• Contribute to warehouse goals, drive local plans/projects, analyze workload to meet seasonal needs.
• Remove and document all damages found on inbound/outbound merchandise.
• Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as applicable.
