Job summary

Abbott is seeking a General Utility, Warehouse at the Columbus Plant to support receiving, loading, shipping and office functions. You will ensure accurate documentation, proper material flow, and adherence to GMP and safety guidelines.

The role involves forklift operation, data entry, and coordination with production. Training is provided; opportunity to contribute to a key nutrition manufacturing site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience using powered material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical troubleshooting, multitasking, team player.
• On-the-job training provides knowledge of receiving/warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Receiving Operations: create accurate documentation, data entry, maintain databases, process inbound pallets.
• Loading/Unloading/Casepicking/Barcoding/Palletizer: perform tasks safely, maintain documentation, ensure weight/compliance.
• Shipping/Receiving Office: accurate documentation, sign-off with common carrier, maintain FIFO/FEFO.
• Operate forklift if needed; move raw materials to production lines; maintain safety and GMP compliance.
