Job summary

Iron Mountain Incorporated is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Specialist to join the Operations team in Port Allen, LA. You will maintain the security and integrity of customer assets while efficiently processing and managing secure storage containers within our record center.

In this role, you will use the Safekeeper system to scan barcodes, handle approximately 200 boxes daily, and perform all related logistics tasks securely and accurately.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse, records center, or similar operations environment.
• Strong knowledge of basic computer-related equipment, data entry, and industry tools, with excellent organization and attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds, and prolonged standing or repetitive motions.
• High School diploma or equivalent with proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill customer orders using the Safekeeper system, scanning carton barcodes and locations; manage about 200 secure storage boxes daily.
• Perform all physical logistics, including loading/unloading trailers, moving, weighing, sorting, and disassembling items with required tools and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, secure work area and safeguard customer information to meet security standards.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of customer assets while efficiently processing and managing secure storage containers within our record center. What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

In this role, you will:

• Process and fulfill customer orders by utilizing the Safekeeper system to accurately scan carton barcodes and locations, managing an average of 200 secure storage boxes daily for retrieval or return.

• Execute all physical logistics, including safely loading and unloading trailers, moving, weighing, sorting, and disassembling items, while safely operating necessary tools and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security protocols by maintaining a clean, secure work area and rigorously safeguarding customer information at all times.

What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

The ideal candidate will have:

• One to two (1-2) years of experience in a warehouse, records center, or similar operations environment.

• Strong knowledge of basic computer-related equipment, data entry, and industry tools, paired with excellent organization and attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy.

• Proven ability in safely performing physical tasks, including regularly lifting up to 60 pounds, and remaining stationary or performing repetitive motions for extended periods (e.g., climbing, stooping, pushing, and pulling).

• High School diploma or equivalent with proficiency in English reading, writing, and communication skills.
