Job summary

Old World Industries is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Bolingbrook, IL to support receiving, storing, and distributing goods while maintaining accurate inventory and a clean, organized workspace. You will inspect shipments, label chemicals per OSHA/DOT/EPA, perform regular counts, and collaborate with the team to meet daily goals.

A high school diploma and forklift certification are a plus; bilingual abilities are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Previous warehouse experience 1-2 years.
• Attention to detail in all tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel tools.
• Bi-Lingual preferred for effective team communication.
• Comfortable working independently, and as part of a team.
• Dependable, reliable, and capable of meeting daily goals.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
• Inspect products for damage and verify accuracy of shipment contents.
• Organize and store inventory in the correct locations.
• Label and store chemicals according to company standards and regulatory requirements (OSHA, DOT, EPA).
• Assist in periodic warehouse cleaning and waste disposal.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to all company policies and OSHA safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals.
• Work with other warehouse team members to effectively complete assigned tasks.
