Job summary

Diebold Nixdorf, Incorporated is seeking an Warehouse Operator to manage material shipping, receiving, and processing at our North Canton site. The role ensures orderly stocking and efficient flow of inbound and outbound materials while maintaining updated documentation for shipments and orders.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, moving materials to receiving and storage areas, inspecting deliveries, and handling inventory movements to support manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Education or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing Warehouse Operations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks, checks delivery documents for discrepancies.
• Moves delivered material to receiving area and stores it properly.
• Inspects shipments for damage and quantity/quality variances.
• Picks and transacts inventory movement for bin replenishment.
• Reports discrepancies to Quality Control and Material Analysts.
• Prepares bills of lading and communicates with carriers for on-time pickup.
• Performs general warehouse housekeeping and maintains documentation.

Job description

Responsible for material shipping, receiving and processing according to company policies and procedures. Ensures the orderly stocking and efficient flow of both inbound and outbound materials / equipment. Maintains and updates required documentation / reporting as shipments are received, cancelled or back ordered. Ensures documentation is up-to-date and reflective of material orders, deliveries, storage and distribution.

• Provides Manufacturing Warehouse Operations support within a site or location.
• Loads and unloads trucks, checking for and noting physical discrepancies on delivery documents.
• Moves delivered material to appropriate receiving area.
• Opens shipments, removes goods, sorting and inspecting for concealed damage and discrepancies in quantity and/or quality.
• Picks and transacts inventory movement for bin replenishment in support of manufacturing operations.
• Reports discrepancies to Quality Control and Material Analysts.
• Identifies field returns by part number, verifying accompanying documentation.
• Moves received goods to storage areas.
• Sorts and consolidates pick / pack slips by priority, shipping code and destination - picking and counting material per order.
• Bags and includes service parts labels for each part number picked, attaching pick / pack to completed orders.
• Ensures orders are consolidated, allocated to the most economical shipping containers and packed to ensure protection in transit and compliance with customer and appropriate regulatory requirements.
• Weighs truck shipments, creates bills of lading and communicates with carriers as required to ensure on time pick up and transport.
• Organizes to-be-shipped materials in temporary holding areas.
• Loads outbound carriers.
• Performs general warehouse housekeeping on a daily basis.
• Maintains and updates reports and required documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Education or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Manufacturing Warehouse Operations.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
