Job summary

Coperion is seeking a Warehouse and Distribution Coordinator in the United States to manage daily warehouse activities and ensure accurate, safe material flow. This role connects Receiving, Inventory, Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Logistics while balancing physical tasks with ERP transactions and documentation.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in warehouse, receiving, inventory control, logistics, or manufacturing.
Forklift experience and safe operation of material-handling equipment.
Experience receiving, picking, packaging, staging, and handling materials.
Basic computer skills and experience with ERP or warehouse-management systems.
Strong organization, time-management, and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication; ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Ability to identify problems and follow issues through resolution.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and process all incoming material and deliveries.
Unload trucks and move materials using forklifts.
Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other receiving documentation.
Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or incorrect material.
Accurately complete receiving transactions within the ERP system.
Maintain organized receiving and staging areas and prevent material from remaining unidentified.
