Job summary

Essity is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Conover, NC, to support daily warehouse activities ensuring orders reach customers accurately and on time. Proficiency with RF scanning and WMS, plus the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, are required.

Prior forklift experience and basic math skills are preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is recommended. This role offers standard warehouse operations duties, including picking, packing, and loading shipments, with opportunities to grow within

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English; required for the safe and effective performance of the job.
• Prior warehouse forklift experience is preferred.
• Basic math aptitude.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to perform heavy and repetitive lifting, with up to 60 pounds required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanning equipment, ensuring safety and timeliness.
• Be proficient in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to follow established procedures.
• Review and complete orders according to established guidelines. Retrieve merchandise from bins or shelves.
• Read order forms to confirm the numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
• Inspect inventory items for defects before preparing them for shipment. Transport materials to departments using hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks, lift equipment, or conveyors.
• Place merchandise in totes, shipper cartons, carts, or pallets to be processed in packing or wrapping stations before being loaded onto shipping trucks or containers.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
