Job summary

Atlanta Flooring Design Centers is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Charlotte, NC. This role leads daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory management, with responsibility for logistics planning and execution.

The ideal candidate has a college degree and at least three years in warehouse operations and logistics, plus strong communication, time management, and professional conduct. Flooring product knowledge is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Requires a college degree and at least three years in warehouse operations/logistics.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, good time management, professional dress, speech and behavior.
• Knowledge of flooring products is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with safety regulations, laws, and company policies.
• Works with internal departments to maintain adequate stock.
• Oversees handling, storage, and assignment of stock.
• Assists with warehouse layout optimization for New Home Construction and Commercial inventory.
• Ensures reports are accurate and timely.
• Initially handles all freight and must operate forklift and lift up to 75 lbs.
• May drive a box truck or sprinter van with a valid driver’s license.
