Job summary

Exol seeks a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead D2C fulfillment at its Perris, CA automated warehouse. You will guide high-performing teams, optimize fast-paced e-commerce workflows, and drive safety and continuous improvement while maximizing automation uptime.

You will partner with technology teams to integrate robotics/AI tools, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain high automation availability, ensuring top-notch order accuracy and cost control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of operations leadership experience in high-volume D2C/e-commerce fulfillment centers.
• Experience with automated systems (AMR, GTP, ASRS) and large teams across multiple shifts.
• Solid background in e-commerce fulfillment metrics, parcel carrier management, and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily receiving, high-velocity unit picking, packing, kitting, parcel outbound, and reverse logistics in Perris.
• Direct, coach, and retain supervisors across multiple shifts; build a safety-focused culture aligned with Cal/OSHA standards.
• Deliver on Order Cycle Time, OTIF, Pick/Pack Accuracy, Inventory Accuracy, and Cost Per Unit; manage staffing and overtime.

What we need

As the Warehouse Operations Manager, you will lead direct-to-consumer (D2C) fulfillment operations at our automated Perris, CA warehouse. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will lead high-performing teams, manage fast-paced e-commerce workflows, drive safety and continuous improvement, and maximize automation uptime. Your goal: hit key e-commerce KPIs, control costs, and deliver an exceptional customer unboxing experience.

What you’ll do

Oversee daily receiving, high-velocity unit picking, packing, kitting, parcel outbound, and reverse logistics in Perris. Direct, coach, and retain supervisors and leads across multiple shifts; build a high-engagement safety culture aligned with Cal/OSHA standards. Deliver on Order Cycle Time, On-Time In-Full (OTIF), Pick/Pack Accuracy, Inventory Accuracy, and Cost Per Unit (CPU). Partner with technology teams to integrate robotics/AI tools, resolve bottlenecks, and maintain high automation availability. Manage dynamic staffing schedules, overtime, and flexible labor models to handle daily volume spikes and peak seasonal demands (Q4/Cyber Week). Apply Lean/Kaizen practices to streamline pick paths, minimize waste, and elevate the customer unboxing experience. Manage labor costs, consumables, and site operational expenses while ensuring full regulatory and company compliance. Present throughput, carrier performance, and KPI dashboards to senior leadership.

What you’ll need

Minimum 8 years of operations leadership experience in high-volume D2C/e-commerce fulfillment centers; strong preference for experience with automated systems (AMR, GTP, ASRS). Proven ability to coach, mentor, and scale large teams (100+ associates) across multiple shifts and peak seasons. Solid background in e-commerce fulfillment metrics, WMS/WES software, parcel carrier management, and data-driven problem solving. Continuous improvement (Lean/Kaizen) mindset with a relentless commitment to customer satisfaction and operational speed. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into action and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.

Our Environment

On-site in our Perris, CA warehouse facility (floor-focused with administrative responsibilities). Ability to work variable shifts (days, nights, weekends) as operational and peak demands require. Up to 10% travel for network visits or customer meetings. Valid driver’s license required.
