TKC Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operation Manager to oversee all warehouse activities at the distribution center, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and policy administration. The role reports to the Operations Manager and is based on-site in North Carolina.

The position requires supervising staff, payroll oversight, and ensuring a safe, efficient warehouse environment. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to work in a Corrections environment.

Responsibilities

• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective actions to team members.
• Approve payroll weekly.
• Equip the warehouse with racking, lighting, climate control and a proper work environment.
• Oversee shipping/receiving and freight control (UPS/FedEx/international).
• Source, negotiate, and maintain lowest freight rates and costs.
• Manage the contractor compliance program.

About This Position

The Warehouse Operation Manager is responsible for all tasks of the warehouse including: shipping, receiving, inventory control, administering policies and programs and maintaining supplies for the Distribution center.

You will work onsite in the warehouse. You will report to the Operations Manager.

Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities

• Hire, orient, trainsand issues corrective action (when applicable) to team members.
• Approve payroll weekly.
• Equip the warehouse with racking, proper lighting, heat and air, proper work environment and any other warehouse related items.
• Ship UPS/FED EX/international/trucking control.
• Sourcing, negotiating and maintaining lowest freight rate and costs.
• Manage the contractor compliance program.
• Manage warehouse personnel.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one or more years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
• Can work inside a Corrections environment.
• Requires supervisory skills.
• Work well in a team environment and create a team work environment by communicating between shift/department.
• Define problems and resolve them quickly.
• Knowledge of Quality Procedures.
