Job summary

Continental in Ohio seeks a Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee the entire warehouse production process and coordinate all warehouse personnel. This role emphasizes proactive leadership, staffing, and process optimization to meet daily goals.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in business/management or hospitality and have 2+ years in warehouse or operations settings. The position offers full-time hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management or hospitality management. Equivalent work experience in the industry is acceptable.
• 2+ years in warehouse, operations, maintenance, customer service, quality assurance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in the selection, training, development, and leadership of the team.
• Step in as a working manager, leading by example.
• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and delegate responsibility to ensure goals and objectives are met daily.
• Assist in the ongoing creation and execution of the company vision.
• Consistently demonstrate positive leadership characteristics that inspire employees to meet and exceed metrics set by operational leadership team.
• Ensure that all events are loaded completely and sent out as scheduled as well as all warehouse assets are properly tracked and maintained.
• Ensure proper staffing and daily tasks are completed.
• Oversee timelines for set up, production and breakdown.
• Adjust product picking schedule based upon team’s picking speed, and overtime needed to complete scheduled work.
• Propose and implement new methods to improve the efficiency of accurate information and execution, as well as ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide timely status of work completion and proactively raise issues before they escalated.
• Enforce all company policies within the employee handbook. Proper uniform, monitor breaks and personal cell phone usage, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
