Job summary

Global Furniture Group in Lawnside, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee our Lawnside distribution center. You will direct receiving, stock control, order picking, packing, shipping and warehouse layout, while leading a team to ensure accurate, timely fulfillment and safe operations.

The role requires 5+ years of warehouse experience with at least 3 years in supervision, strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency with RF scanners, forklifts and warehouse management systems,

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent preferred.
5+ years previous warehouse operations with 3+ years in supervisory or management role.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; RF scanner and warehouse management systems

Responsibilities

Directs the efforts of warehouse personnel to receive and ship orders accurately and timely.
Unloading, sorting, and staging products from inbound trucks and containers using PIT.
Accurately pull products for Will Call pick-ups and shipments.
Sort stock on racks and shelves according to Bin location.
Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure equipment is in good working order.
Schedule and coordinate truck arrivals, pickups, and freight.
Lead inventory cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
Ensure safety practices and PPE compliance in daily operations.
