Job summary

primesourceexternalcareers is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to direct and coordinate the activities of warehouse workers, supervise 5-35 staff, and enforce company policies and procedures. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning and directing work, and performance appraisals.

Education requires an Associate degree or equivalent with at least 2 years of supervisory experience; SAP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent and at least 2 years of Supervisory experience.
• Logistic background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Management and mentoring of personnel; general people management.
• Recruiting, interviewing, and other Talent Acquisition activities.
• Equipment/ Asset Management
• Scheduling truck routes (only at small DCs)
• Cycle counts
• Reallocate product from BOL
• Manage storage bin locations
• Receiving
• Truckfill
• Managing labor productivity
• Manage inventory
• Safety Training; certifications
• Quality checks Record Retention (OSHA, etc.)
• Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Issues written and oral instructions.
• Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to all company policies and procedures.
