Job summary

Allied Group is seeking a warehouse operations manager to oversee inbound/outbound activities, inventory control, and safety culture in a fast-paced distribution center in the United States. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency and leadership of hourly staff.

You will supervise daily warehouse functions, coordinate schedules, inspect equipment, and implement productivity improvements to meet high-volume fulfillment targets and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in operations management role managing hourly employees.
• Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedures and policy.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities.
• Ability to work with all levels of company staff.
• Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and utilizing scanner technology in a warehouse environment.
• 3+ years’ experience in the PVF industry.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
• Schedule and oversee warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
• Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed
• Meeting regularly with warehouse leads to review, analyzing, and developing actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention
• Schedule customers and internal facilities shipments by utilizing our transport network to meet delivery expectations.
• Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
• Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations Department
