Job summary

Beverage Distribution Center, Inc. is looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse activities in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. You will guide Supervisors and Associates, develop schedules, ensure safety, and drive operational excellence across shifts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of warehouse management (10 years if no degree), strong leadership, KPI management, analytics, and WMS/GMP experience. Benefits are strong, with a competitive salary and 401K.

• 7 years Warehouse Management experience; or 10 years.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Experience in union environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
• Experience using analytics and management reporting to drive improvements.
• Related training or certification.
• Experience with WMS and food safety/GMPs in warehousing.

• Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline up to termination as necessary.
• Drive P&L initiatives.
• Performs other duties as required.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Manages all warehouse activities. Provide guidance, expertise and leadership to Warehouse Supervisors and Associates. Manager may be required to work different shifts to resolve/cover/support the management team.

REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 7 years Warehouse Management experience; OR 10 years Warehouse Management experience.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Previous experience in union environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to develop and motivate high performing teams.
• Experience developing and managing to daily KPIs to understand performance and progress towards long term strategic goals
• Proven ability to use analytics and management reporting to develop and execute improvement actions.
• Related training or certification.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Previous WMS (Warehouse Management System) experience.
• Experience in Food Safety environment developing and executing GMPs, allergen and sanitation programs in a warehousing environment.

We offer a salary of 85k-$100k. Excellent benefits which include medical, dental and vision. Eligibility in benefit plans begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment. Six (6) days of sick leave; two (2) weeks of vacation accrued throughout the year; nine (9) Company Paid Holidays and a 401K Plan with employer match.
