Job summary

Packz is hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager in Delaware to run the warehouse day-to-day. This role reports to the Head of Operations and focuses on speed, accuracy, loss prevention, and team health.

It is a hands-on, in-person position with growth opportunities as we scale our operations. You will lead receiving, uploading, picking, and shipping, while owning floor KPIs and building a healthy pipeline of talent to support expansion.

The Role

We are hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager to help run the Packz warehouse.

Every card on Packz passes through our warehouse: it’s received, uploaded, secured, and shipped to collectors. We are adding inventory, categories, and capacity to support our growth, and we pride ourselves on offering the fastest and most reliable service in the industry. You’ll own that promise day to day.

You’ll report to the Head of Operations and own the site’s results: speed, accuracy, loss, productivity, and team health. This is a hands‑on role. Our goal is to have you grow with the company. Strong performers will see their role evolve as we add more shifts and processes.

This role is full‑time, in‑person, and based in Delaware.

What You’ll Do

• Lead daily operations across receiving, uploading, picking, and shipping
• Own the floor’s KPIs, including time to ship, time to upload, inventory accuracy, and team retention: refine targets with the Head of Operations, report weekly, and drive improvement
• Hire and develop associates and leads, and keep a healthy pipeline of candidates to support growth
• Build schedules that keep every shift and position covered
• Build a culture of safety, accountability, and accuracy
• Find what’s broken, propose fixes backed by data, and roll out new systems and product lines
• Keep equipment running, supplies stocked, and the site safe, clean, and compliant
• Protect high‑value inventory: control access, verify end‑of‑day checks, and conduct regular checks
• Resolve exceptions with carriers and customer service

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of warehouse or 3PL operations experience, including 2+ years managing a team of 20 or more
• Strong inventory control, including cycle counts and loss prevention
• Proficiency with a warehouse management or inventory system, and with Excel and Google Workspace
• A track record of managing by KPIs
• Experience designing or redesigning warehouse processes or systems, with measurable impact
• Comfort digging into data to find root causes and make the case for a change
• Working knowledge of warehouse safety practices
• Comfort operating with high ownership as an early hire

Nice to Have

• Experience handling high‑value goods
• Familiarity with trading cards or collectibles
• Prior experience at startup / newly established warehouse

Compensation

• $100,000 - $130,000 base salary
