Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Norfolk, VA seeks an Operations Manager to direct a mid‑sized warehouse, oversee daily activities, and drive KPI performance including labor-to-revenue, truck turn times, and customer service. The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 4+ years in operations management, and expertise in WMS and Lean/Six Sigma.

You will lead, train, and develop staff, manage budgets, and ensure safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years' Operations Management experience in Supply Chain or related field.
• Experience with continuous improvement processes such as Six Sigma and/or LEAN.
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop people in operation roles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Responsibilities

• Direct, recruit, train, develop, and provide performance feedback to direct reports.
• Achieve company performance goals including KPIs like Labor to Revenue (LTR) and customer service standards.
• Review and analyze warehouse activities and costs to drive process improvement.
• Collaborate with Sales in marketing and account development, including planning strategies and negotiating contracts.
• Monitor budgets, capex, and space utilization to meet targets.
