Job summary

Carboline Global, Inc. seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse operations at the Lake Charles, Louisiana facility.

You will oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, and the organization of the warehouse while ensuring on-time shipments and a safe, compliant work environment. The ideal candidate has strong leadership, safety commitment, operational excellence, and team development skills, with 5 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years direct supervisory or management experience.
• Must have forklift certification or pass forklift test.
• Must wear PPE as prescribed under OSHA standards.
• Ability to read and interpret procedure manuals and safety rules; use a computer for company processes.

Responsibilities

• Assigns employees to tasks to meet shipping schedules with minimal overtime.
• Manage gathering, stenciling, and loading of orders for shipment.
• Maintain hazardous materials certification and ensure certifications are up to date; train employees as needed.
• Monitor orders prepared for shipment according to the Warehouse Manual.
• Ensure on-time shipment schedules and safe housekeeping practices.
• Oversee hazard recognition and injury reporting per Carboline policy.
• Coordinate export orders with corporate transportation for timely shipments.
• Participate in special projects as directed by Management.
