AlbanyEngineered Composites (AEC) in Salt Lake City, UT, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee safety, productivity and efficiency of warehouse operations, supervising employees and monitoring flow to deliver accurate materials to their destinations.

You will organize workload, ensure proper handling, provide daily reports to management, lead continuous improvement, mentor staff and coordinate with other supervisors to improve production, quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with warehouse operations and logistics.

Responsabilités

• Communicating with warehouse associates daily under the direction of the Warehouse Manager.
• Supervising efficient operations of warehouse and transportation.
• Assisting in the hiring process and interviewing of potential employees.
• Training, supervising, and evaluating the performance of warehouse employees.
• Collaborating with team leads regarding personnel movement and workload completion.
• Maintaining attendance, productivity information, and employee performance logs.
• Monitoring supplies and directing replenishment efforts as needed.
• Ensuring that all equipment is in proper working condition and coordinating repairs.
• Planning and organizing the work and resource flow to complete shifts safely and effectively.
• Collaborating with other supervisors to improve production, quality, and communication.
• Ensuring that all materials and shipping containers are restocked for order selection.
• Leading safe work practices in adherence with safety policies and requirements.
• Review problems and discrepancy reports and either execute effective corrective actions or contact the appropriate personnel for resolution
• Contribute to defining and implementing departmental policies and procedures
• Support Discrepant/Excess/Obsolete material processing to assure timely removal from production floor or warehouse
• Direct and conduct cycle count program and assets in periodic physical inventory of production materials
• Resolve issues with SAP ERP models for Warehousing and Inventory Control and Shipping
• Support division import/export policy and to meet customer demand
• Support division traffic/transportation needs to meet internal expectation and customer demand
• Regularly inform management of the status of all work activities
• All employees are responsible for the quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds customer satisfaction
