Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager to lead receiving, storage, order picking, shipping and transportation. You will focus on customer satisfaction by maintaining efficient, accurate, and cost-effective warehouse operations.

The role requires 5–7+ years of warehousing management experience, strong inventory control knowledge, and hands-on leadership. Onsite work in Tacoma, WA, with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Material Management, or related field preferred.
• 5–7+ years of management experience in warehousing, inventory control, or materials management.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and safety practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with JDE/SAP/AX and WMS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach, and train personnel on safety, compliance, product knowledge, procedures, and best practices.
• Maintain cycle count program based on ABC principles.
• Lead efforts to implement best practices in shipping and warehousing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement focusing on operational excellence and KPI targets.
• Manage day-to-day shipping operations: on-time delivery, shipping costs, inventory, and productivity.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth warehouse activities and customer satisfaction.
