Barry-Wehmiller BW Converting is seeking a warehouse operations leader to coordinate daily activities and guide a team in receiving, staging, and distributing materials for internal and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes throughput, inventory turns, and cost reduction through Lean principles, cycle counts, and strong leadership to ensure on-time support for assembly and internal customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years in warehouse/inventory leadership, or 5 years in related warehouse roles.
• Leadership in manufacturing, warehouse or lean deployment with transformational responsibilities.
• Proven success improving throughput, cycle time, inventory turns and reducing supply chain costs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate distribution of parts to support assembly teams.
• Coordinate daily warehouse operations, cycle counts, intercompany shipments, and stocking strategies.
• Primary contact for warehouse operations issues.
• Lead team receiving, identifying, issuing, storing, or kitting materials.
• Develop standards and processes based on improvement opportunities.
• Support safety, quality, performance, and productivity improvements.
• Collaborate with warehouse, purchasing and assembly teams to prevent issues.
• Analyze current processes and address internal/external customer needs.
• Support Lean journey with coaching on Lean principles.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
