Job summary

Nuage Designs is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager in Chicago, IL, to lead inbound unloading, receiving, storage, and order execution. You will own picking, staging, loading, and put-away while ensuring inventory accuracy and safe operations.

• Strong inventory control knowledge and cycle counts
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience leading teams and coordinating with logistics functions

Responsibilities

• Own all warehouse execution including inbound unloading, picking, staging, loading, and put-away processes
• Ensure inbound routes and vendor deliveries are unloaded, inspected, and received into inventory
• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and order preparation
• Maintain organized layout and efficient product flow
• Ensure all orders are picked, staged, and ready for dispatch on time
• Ensure picking, staging, and loading meet accuracy and securement standards
• Coordinate with Inventory Manager to maintain system accuracy and integrity
• Verify inbound shipments against manifests and POs; identify discrepancies and corrective actions
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise warehouse staff; set priorities; manage performance
• Maintain OSHA-compliant safety practices and proper equipment use
• Partner with Logistics & Dispatch to align warehouse execution with delivery schedules
• Ensure outbound loads are accurate, secure, and ready for transit
