A&C Plastics is seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager to lead daily warehouse operations in Schiller Park, IL. The role involves hands-on leadership to ensure accurate picking, packaging, and shipping of orders, while maintaining safety and inventory controls.

You will coordinate receiving, stock maintenance, and ERP-related tasks, with a focus on timely delivery and process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing warehouse teams.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willing to travel to Houston, TX if necessary.
• Strong attendance, punctuality, reliability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pulling and packaging teams ensuring orders are accurate and on time (leadership).
• Manage receiving operations for efficient stocking.
• Review reports and address accuracy issues.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and vehicles.
• Conduct and document monthly safety meetings.
• Print and distribute shipping docs for processing.
• Coordinate freight pickups with carriers.
• Inspect outbound shipments against docs.
• Assist with local routing and deliveries.
• Operate forklift to pick, transport, and package materials.
• Maintain records and ERP reconciliation.
• Lead physical inventory processes.
• Drive process improvements across warehouse functions.
