Job summary

All Surfaces, a leading distributor of flooring and sundries, is seeking a Warehouse Manager for the Earth City area (St. Louis, MO). You will lead a team, optimize receiving, storage, and shipping processes, and ensure safety and efficiency across all warehouse activities.

The role requires 5+ years of warehouse experience, at least 1 year in supervision, forklift certification, and a practical understanding of warehousing best practices. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of warehouse experience in retail, wholesale, or similar environments.
• 1+ years of supervisor/leadership experience.
• Forklift experience and/or certification.
• In-depth understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop warehouse staff to create a positive, engaged team.
• Motivate staff to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Establish and reinforce safety, maintenance, compliance, and cleanliness standards.
• Manage associates, monitor work, and ensure safe use of equipment.
• Verify orders for accuracy and quality across receiving and shipping.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Follow SOPs for paperwork and electronic systems.
• Coordinate maintenance and design improvements to warehouses and grounds.
• Organize space and inventory for safety and efficiency.
• Monitor remote locations and coordinate with branches to ensure service.
• Foster strong communication across departments.
• Act as a backup in all warehouse positions.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
