Job summary

Axalta-Coating-Systems in Niles, IL is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee multiple warehouse areas, drive safety, accuracy, and efficiency in inbound/outbound operations.

You will mentor staff, manage shifts and KPIs, coordinate with procurement and logistics, and use SAP and WMS to track inventory and performance.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, audits, safety enforcement, and reporting on productivity and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred in logistics or related field.
• 5+ years in warehouse operations with 3+ years in supervision.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures, inventory control, and logistics.
• Experience with SAP, WMS and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead warehouse staff including training, scheduling, and KPI performance management.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate, on time, and documented.
• Maintain warehouse organization, layout optimization, and cleanliness.
• Monitor inventory levels; perform cycle counts and audits.
• Enforce safety and health regulations; ensure compliance.
• Use WMS/ERP systems to track goods and manage workflows.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and customer service teams.
• Generate reports on productivity, inventory accuracy, and staff performance.
