Job summary

Motion Industries in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, receiving and inventory accuracy, while maintaining efficient space utilization and equipment upkeep. You will supervise 0-5 indirect reports, delegate tasks, coach staff, schedule customer deliveries and Will Call service, and ensure safety and accuracy.

A high school diploma or GED and five years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; five years related experience preferred.
• Ability to interact positively with direct reports, coworkers, and customers.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs daily activities of warehouse employees.
• Delegates and assigns tasks to warehouse staff.
• Provides coaching and feedback to warehouse employees.
• Oversees efficient use of space for storage and distribution of materials.
• Manages order fulfillment, shipping, receiving and warehouse organization.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and warehouse location system.
• Schedules daily customer deliveries and will-call service.
• Performs other warehouse functions as needed.
