Job summary

Composites One is seeking a Warehouse Manager in Dayton, OH to oversee all warehouse operations, safety, quality, and logistics, including receiving, storage, and distribution. You will drive efficiency, manage staff, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include staffing plans, root-cause analysis of shipping errors, liaising with suppliers and regional buyers, cycle counts, and optimizing material flow.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a warehouse environment with supervisory experience.
• Experience with order picking, shipping, receiving, and inventory counts.
• In-depth knowledge of FIFO, OSHA requirements, safety awareness, and HAZMAT shipping.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to learn internal systems (SAP).
• Proficient with WMS and dedicated logistics systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop staffing systems and procedures to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Investigate root causes of shipping/receiving errors and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate product movement, warehouse space, and stock rotation with regional teams.
• Oversee annual physical inventory and cycle counts; monitor freight transactions.
• Optimize equipment and material movement to deliver value to customers.
• Monitor warehousing safety and staff performance through coaching.
