Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in East Rutherford, New Jersey to guide warehouse activities, oversee inventory, and ensure timely distribution of materials ordered. You will supervise staff, monitor safety compliance, and coordinate shipments while maintaining security and accuracy.

Responsibilities include planning work assignments, receiving shipments, entering data into tracking systems, inspecting deliveries, and collaborating with site vendors to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role
• Basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing)
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility to adapt to variable work demands

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and assignment of work to maximize personnel and equipment efficiency
• Maintain inventory and set levels based on past usage and future demand
• Receive incoming shipments and enter tracking data for disbursement
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality and reject unsuitable items
• Supervise warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep
• Assist in ordering from site vendors and liaise with management/vendor
• Suggest improvements to warehouse practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs
• Provide training to warehouse staff and assist with staffing decisions
• Uncrate shipments and manage containers and packaging appropriately
