Job summary

Spring Footwear Corp. in Pompano Beach, FL seeks an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to lead daily warehouse and distribution operations. The role partners with supervisors to coordinate workflow, resolve issues, and maintain accuracy and efficiency on the floor.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and a track record of improving warehouse performance while ensuring safety and compliance. On-site role with growth potential within operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse/distribution, with 2+ years in supervision.
• Strong shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control knowledge.
• Experience directing associates and working with supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Overssee daily warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, replenishment, picking, packing and shipping.
• Coordinate daily workflow across warehouse functions based on orders and staffing.
• Provide day-to-day direction to supervisors and team leads.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy, attendance, and overall performance.
• Ensure shipping deadlines are met with accuracy and quality standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and operational issues; work with managers to resolve.
• Assist with inventory control activities and cycle counts.
• Coach supervisors and associates on processes and safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Inventory, Operations and management.
• Support workforce planning, scheduling, and overtime decisions.
