Job summary

Top Gun Staffing, Inc. seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced production environment.

This hands-on role oversees shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and warehouse personnel to ensure safe, efficient material movement throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, with a strong background in warehouse operations and inventory management.

Qualifications

Associate degree in supply chain or a related field preferred.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing.
Experience leading shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations.
Proficiency with ERP or WMS; SAP experience preferred.
Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement knowledge a plus.
Familiarity with transportation and logistics operations.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material movement.
Lead, coach, and develop a team of about 20 warehouse employees.
Plan workloads, assign tasks, and adjust staffing to meet production and customer deadlines.
Ensure accurate receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipments.
Monitor inventory through cycle counts and audits; resolve discrepancies.
Optimize layout and material flow for efficiency and productivity.
Develop and maintain SOPs promoting safety and excellence.
Track KPIs for inventory accuracy, shipping, productivity, and performance.
Collaborate with production, purchasing, and customer service to ensure material availability.
