UNFI Wholesale Inc. in Champaign, IL is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a fast-paced team, oversee daily warehouse operations, and ensure accurate inventory control. You will utilize WMS systems, drive safety standards, and coordinate with shipping, receiving and transportation to optimize processes.

The role requires strong supervisory and communication skills, plus the ability to maintain production records and oversee compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a warehouse team and shipping/receiving operations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to direct a fast-paced team.
• Ability to read and interpret computerized reports and maintain records.
• Solid computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and supervises shipping/receiving associates.
• Maintains daily production and accuracy records.
• Coordinates with Inventory Control regarding slotting and space allocation.
• Conducts daily crew meetings to discuss safety, productivity and accuracy.
• Communicates with Transportation on backhaul flow and receipt.
• Ensures safety, security, sanitation and policy compliance in the warehouse.
