Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in logistics/distribution role.
• 2–3 years forklift experience.
• MHE certification required.
• Strong attention to detail; timely task completion.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of warehouse associates in daily operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
• Assign and monitor work to ensure productivity, accuracy, safety, and quality standards.
• Load orders to correct doors/trailers efficiently and accurately.
• Research discrepancies in shipping/receiving process.
• Train new and existing associates on SOPs (shipping, receiving, picking, quality control).
• Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and feedback to team members.
• Assist with problem-solving and elevate issues to Supervisor/Manager as needed.
• Ensure proper use of equipment, PPE and safety policies.
• Perform regular quality and inventory checks to minimize errors and damages.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and engagement.
• Maintain clear communication between shifts for smooth handoffs.
