Bassham Foods seeks a dependable Warehouse Manager to oversee the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of products through the warehouse facility. The role includes receiving, storage, inventory control, shipping, and ensuring HACCP and food safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, safety-focused, and able to communicate clearly with warehouse personnel, drivers, vendors, and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics training preferred.
• Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution management required; food industry preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA, HACCP, and food safety procedures preferred.
• Ability to operate or certify forklift and pallet jack per policy.
• Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and quick issue resolution.
• Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, staging, loading, and shipping.
• Ensure inbound/outbound products meet standards, proper documentation, tagging, and HACCP compliance.
• Maintain accurate records for receiving, shipping, inventory, orders, and cycle counts.
• Monitor temperature requirements, load security, and food safety procedures to prevent damage.
• Promote safe operations with inspections, PPE, and training.
• Coordinate workload, training, and performance feedback with warehouse leadership.
• Keep facility clean, secure, inspection-ready, compliant with OSHA/HACCP.
• Provide backup support for dispatching, routing, and related duties.
