Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Warehouse Lead to supervise daily operations across receiving, storage, picking, packing and outbound shipping at our Buffalo facility. You will bridge hourly staff and management, uphold safety and quality standards, and support continuous improvement while covering shifts as needed.

The role requires 1-2 years in industrial warehouse settings, forklift/tow motor experience (certification required), and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in industrial manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Forklift or tow motor experience preferred; certification required.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities across receiving, storage, picking, packing and outbound shipping.
• Assist the Warehouse Manager with process implementation to enhance productivity, inventory accuracy, and customer service.
• Provide input to the Manager on performance metrics and enforce SOPs.
• Conduct routine safety and equipment checks; ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Train, mentor, and provide coaching to warehouse team members; assist with onboarding, performance feedback, and recognizing excellent performance.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts, discrepancies reporting, and documentation of stock movements.
• Maintain organized and clean workspaces, ensuring audit readiness and adherence to housekeeping standards.
• Step in during staff absences or call-offs to maintain operational continuity across shifts.
