Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution (QCD) seeks a Warehouse Supervisor for the Franklin Park, IL site to lead daily warehouse operations, ensure safety and efficiency, and supervise staff. The role requires 3–6 years in warehouse or distribution operations with strong safety and inventory knowledge, plus High School Diploma/GED and forklift instructor certification.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, including team supervision.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols, food handling, and inventory best practices.
• Proficiency in computer systems and reporting (barcoding, warehouse systems, timekeeping).
• High School Diploma/GED, or equivalent experience. Forklift instructor certification.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and monitors day-to-day operations for the warehouse department to meet objectives for shipping, rotation, sanitation, safety and timeliness.
• Monitors loading, dispatch, and receiving times and ensures compliance with QIP, HACCP and DOT regulations.
• Communicates with employees to ensure compliance with productivity, safety and sanitation policies.
• Conducts daily/weekly audits and implements improvements for availability, storage, sanitation and security of inventory.
• Maintains and analyzes time records, daily logs, damage reports, and related paperwork.
• Monitors product damage and audits routes for reliable delivery.
• Plans and schedules manpower.
• Coordinates vehicle and equipment maintenance and utilization reports.
