Job summary

Simplot Company is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Grand Forks, ND to oversee receiving, storage, shipping, and inventory control while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and customer service. The role supervises staff, coordinates daily operations, and maintains compliance with safety and union policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring data in LTW, IWS, and DCS systems, providing training, and promoting safe practices.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of related warehouse or supervision experience.
• MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must obtain and maintain SCBA certification for entry into low oxygen freezer environment.
• Must obtain and maintain Authorized Fall Protection Certification.
• Must obtain and maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must obtain and maintain a Forklift Certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote healthy and safety work practices.
• Direct the warehouse operation to monitor inventory, shipping, receiving, cost control, and quality performance. Ensure receipt and record keeping of inventory.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and union contracts are administered and followed in a fair, consistent manner.
• Operate forklift and other equipment as necessary to maintain warehouse; may unload/load product.
• Monitor, analyze, and verify information in LTW, IWS, and DCS systems to maximize uptime.
• Report and log mechanical and operational problems to achieve maximum uptime.
• Provide supervision and training for staff and orientation for new employees; ensure safety procedures are communicated.
• Follow leadership directives and identify mistakes.
