Job summary

Mouser Electronics, a global distributor of semiconductors and electronic components, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead a productivity-driven team at our Mansfield, TX facility. You will supervise daily warehouse activities, manage performance, and ensure safety, accuracy, and timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any field, or minimum of 3 years prior work experience relevant to the team you will supervise.
• Internal candidates: Minimum 1 year as a highly performing Lead/Coordinator or 2 years as Mouser employee.
• External candidates: Minimum 2 years as a supervisor or higher-level management position.

Responsibilities

• Develops and supervises a productive warehouse operations team by hiring qualified personnel, utilizing effective communication and motivational techniques, providing ongoing performance management, rewarding higher levels of performance and providing training and succession planning.
• Supervises daily activities of warehouse department(s) to ensure excellent service levels, low transactional cost, and high quality; communicates during team talks and department meetings.
• Ensures policies and processes are documented and implemented; trains all employees in standard operating procedures.
• Meets with employees receiving quality or coaching reports; directs work of two or more full-time employees; provides performance guidance and staffing recommendations.
• Develops and maintains quality and productivity metrics and implements changes to increase productivity and customer experience; addresses lateness and breaks as needed.
• Administers weekly stats, performance reviews, corrective action documents, and payroll changes; manages timesheets and time-off requests.
• Plans labor requirements based on workload and skills; assists with interviews and hiring.
• Maintains communications with peers and warehouse management to ensure seamless operations; builds professional relationships within the team.
• Performs research on quality issues and implements corrective action plans as needed.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
