Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing).
• Valid driver\'s license and good driving record.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands.

Responsibilities

• Plan and assign work to maximize efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels based on usage and demand.
• Receive shipments and log into tracking system for disbursement.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality; reject items as needed.
• Supervise warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep.
• Assist in vendor orders and communicate needs to management.
• Suggest improvements to warehouse practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide training for warehouse staff and assist with hiring if needed.
• Uncrate shipments and manage disposal or storage of containers.
