Job summary

The Haldex team in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Team Leader to supervise distribution warehouse staff through receiving, storage, and shipping operations. You will lead by example, coach peers, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling work, issuing instructions, training employees, maintaining accurate records, and developing SAP S/4HANA knowledge to monitor workflow and resolve process issues with the team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups.
• Ability to calculate figures and quantities.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.

Responsibilities

• Determine work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow.
• Issue written and oral instructions.
• Assign duties and inspect work for accuracy and conformance to policies.
• Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency.
• Train new and existing employees.
• Advise on care/storage of items and use of equipment.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance.
• Verify end-of-shift shutdowns and housekeeping.
• Conduct safety walks and report observations/issues.
• Develop SAP S/4HANA knowledge and troubleshoot issues.
