Job summary

Arcadia Stones is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Manager to own and optimize a small-footprint inventory hub. You will operate forklift, manage stock, fulfill sample and merchandise requests for sales and partners, and drive safety and risk-reduction across the facility.

You will lead the team, improve workflows, and support both logistics and localized sales growth in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, detail-oriented approach is essential to keep daily operations flawless.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
• Experience handling building materials, heavy goods, or sample programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of warehouse layout to ensure a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Manage tracking, receiving, and storage of inventory, including samples and catalogs.
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies for inventory accuracy.

As we scale our footprint, our internal operations must remain agile and efficient. We are looking for a highly adaptable, hands‑on Warehouse Manager who thrives in adynamic environment and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves to ensure our daily operations run flawlessly.

The Role

We operate a specialized, small-footprint inventory hub, and we need a versatile leader to take ownership of the space. You will wear multiple hats - from operating the forklift and managing stock to fulfilling critical sample inventory and merchandise requests for our sales teams and external partners. The role is also responsible for driving safety execution, compliance and risk reduction. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory & Facility Management

• Take full ownership of the warehouse layout, ensuring a clean, safe, and highly organized environment.
• Manage the tracking, receiving, and storage of physical inventory, including product samples and marketing literature/catalogs.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies to maintain absolute inventory accuracy.
• Enforce health and safety rules like OSHA guidelines. Partner closely with operation leaders to help identify risks proactively and ensure safety is embedded into daily operations.
• Work with Safety Director to hire, train, schedule and warehouse workers.

Fulfillment & Merchandise Operations

• Execute the safe retrieval and staging of slab inventory for outbound shipping and local pickup, maintaining strict adherence to established safety protocols and material handling best practices.
• Process and fulfill daily requests for product samples, marketing collateral, and specialized merchandise efficiently and accurately.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal sales teams regarding stock levels and incoming merchandise requests.

Logistics & Cross-Functional Support

• Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) to load and unload deliveries.
• Regularly evaluate warehouse protocols and propose innovative workflow solutions to maximize operational efficiency and support organizational scale.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics. Experience handling building materials, heavy goods, or specialized sample programs is a massive plus.
• Adaptability: A "no task is too small" mentality. You are just as comfortable entering data into an inventory system as you are loading a pallet onto a truck.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in basic inventory management software (ERP/WMS) and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace. Ability to recognize risks when loading and unloading flatbed trucks. Knowledge of material handling safe practices. Some knowledge of DOT regulations and Over the Road Driver Support.
• Attention to Detail: You treat a high-end product sample going to a key client with the same care as a standard inventory shipment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy items (up to 50+ lbs) safety and operate standard warehouse machinery (valid Forklift Certification required and valid state issued driver’s license).
