Job summary

Arkansas Valley Electric Cooperative Corporation is seeking a Warehouse Person II to ensure the efficient and economical use of the warehouse facilities for purchasing, receiving, storing and distributing supplies and materials. The role requires maintaining an organized operation to support processing of materials.

The incumbent will perform duties of Warehouse Person I, manage material flow, and operate a forklift, while maintaining accurate inventory records and safe storage across multiple

Qualifications

• Must learn RUS Construction Units.
• Must have legible handwriting.
• Excellent organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill all duties of Warehouse Person I.
• Provide materials for work orders with 96%+ inventory accuracy.
• Keep storeroom and yard orderly, clean, safe and in good condition.
• Maintain proper inventory levels for items required on a continuing basis.
• Issue materials and equipment and complete required paperwork.
• Return material to stock and process retired material.
• Accept shipments and put into stock.
• Prepare material for distribution by assembling and boxing.
• Operate forklift to load and unload heavy material.
• Store materials safely and efficiently.
• Deliver materials to outside locations.
• Receive inventory into computer software for payment through A/P.
• Learn and conduct cycle counts at all locations.
• Performs other activities and duties as required.
