Job summary

WNA in Newton, NC seeks a Warehouse/Inventory Control Manager to lead daily warehouse activities and inventory control. You will manage the Warehouse Supervisor and staff, establish a cycle-counting program, and ensure accurate receiving, putaway, picking, staging, and shipping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in warehouse/inventory roles.
• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience with ERP/WMS like SAP.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse and inventory-control activities with clear priorities.
• Coach Warehouse Supervisor and staff with feedback and action plans.
• Establish and sustain ABC cycle-counting; investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure timely, accurate receiving, putaway, picking, staging, shipping.
• Improve picking, packing, loading, and material-handling to cut errors.
• Coordinate with Quality to address customer issues and implement fixes.
• Maintain storage locations, labeling, and 5S in warehouse areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve shortages.
• Develop standard work and training for warehouse processes.
• Plan staffing for receiving, replenishment, and shipments.
• Track performance and drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Promote a safe work environment and compliance.
