Description
The Warehouse Operations Expeditor is responsible for:
Packing, processing, stocking, loading, and breaking down all equipment that is needed for each event. This position is also responsible for delivering equipment and food to our various company buildings and venues. The Warehouse Operations Expeditor reports directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
DAILY OPERATIONS
· Able to succeed in a team based work environment.
· Assure all specific cleaning processes are followed for all warehouse assets.
o Equipment, china, flatware, woods, plastics, etc.
· Assist the restocking and processing of items back into the warehouse location specified.
· Assist on inventory, equipment deep clean, repairs, and other projects that may be required.
· Be able to work independently to complete opening and closing tasks.
· Provide feedback on possible process improvements.
· Maintain a weekly breakage report for inventory control.
· Assist in receiving and stocking all incoming orders at the warehouse.
· Assist with all scheduled equipment checks for cleanliness and functionality.
· Lead the packing of dry goods/beverage pull sheets and requisition orders for events.
· Assist with the double-checking process of packed events to ensure accuracy.
· Confidently understand and follow all Culinary Center processes and procedures.
· Load trucks with finished food carts and equipment required, while following standardized procedures for each.
· Work with Operations team members on off-premise events as needed.
· Follow all building, event, and truck Standard Operating Procedures.
· Ability to pass and maintain an updated DOT physical examination.
· Obtain and maintain a valid Chauffer’s license.
· Check and maintain cleanliness of company vehicles.
· Communicate shortages to the Warehouse Operations Manager as far in advance as possible to assure a fast solution.
· Drive company vehicles to and from events and buildings as needed.
· Work a flexible schedule that may change based on event requirements.
· Support the Events Group in any necessary capacity, to ensure success for the company as whole.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- One or more years of hospitality or warehouse experience required
